Résumé
Parn et sa troupe se font attaquer par Sheeris et Orson, deux mercenaires, alors qu'ils se rendaient chez Karla. Pendant ce temps Ghim continue sa quête personnelle. La recherche de Laira le mène face à Karla qui a pris possession de son corps. Rejoint par le reste de la troupe, Ghim dans un dernier effort parvient à rompre le sort qui liait Karla à Laira.
